The Japanese word “midori” is used as a symbol for forest, tree and environment
We added an extra “i” to make Miidori.
This “i” represents our passion for “idea” and “information” and also, as the Japanese word for love is pronounced “i”, our love for nature.

The Japanese people have used wood since ancient times.
Wood was used not only for houses, but also for farming tools and life richening handcrafts.
Oak, beech and other materials were cleverly used according to the purpose as early as the Jyomon period.
Ever since, the Japanese have lived in wooden houses, used wooden tools, and enjoyed crafting the wood.
